This is a template set for Magic Set Editor to assist in the creation of a database for the documentation of a coin collection. Each zip includes the most recent build of MSE.exe, an English translation file that changes the term "card" to "coin" and the term "set" to "collection", a required spellchecking file, a "coindb" game file, and a variety of templates for documenting different types of coins.

To Install:
  1. Download the zip that will best fit your needs. If you would like more than one of the layouts, you may download the "All" option, or download each one you wish to use.
  2. Extract each zip you download. Windows includes a native tool for extracting zips that can be accessed by right-clicking on the zip.
  3. Inside of each of the zips is a folder titled "coin database". Cut/copy that folder and paste it wherever you like, EXCEPT for into Program Files. If you have multiple zips, simply copy and paste them on top of each other, overwriting duplicate files as you go.
  4. Inside the "coin database" folder is a file called "mse.exe". This is the program. When you run it, it will give you the option of creating a new set or loading an existing one.
  5. Optional: When you run MSE, all of its terminology will be such that it deals with the creation of custom cards and sets of cards. I've included an optional translation to change that terminology. If you would like to use it, start a new set or open an existing set. Once MSE is open and displaying a set, choose the Edit tab at the top of MSE, and then choose Preferences. This opens a dialog, the front page of which will allow you to change the language from "en: English" to "coindb-en: English (CoinDB). MSE will function exactly the same no matter the language chosen - this is purely to help the user interface to make more sense when MSE is used in this manner.

Existing MSE Users: If you would like to use these templates, copy and paste the contents of the included data folders into your own data folder.

Instructions for use are forthcoming.
